Gal Oya Lodge

Gal Oya Lodge is set in 20 acres of a private forest, against the backdrop of low lying mountains, in the vicinity of the forgotten Gal Oya National Park. It also borders the country’s largest lake, Gal Oya and offers the opportunity of seeing wildlife from boat safaris, especially the swimming elephants. 8 spacious lodges are nestled in the forest with impressive views all around. Club Villa

Designed by South Asia’s most renowned architect, Geoffrey Bawa, this southwestern beach boutique hotel exudes the air of a home from home. Located in a water sport paradise the area of Bentota provides plenty of opportunities for recreation and play. The estuary of Madu Ganga River offers another exotic world with one of the last remaining pristine mangrove forests in Sri Lanka. Buckingham Place

This eco-friendly, family-friendly boutique hotel is situated in the deep south, in the coastal village of Rekawa. Rekawa is home to one of the best sea turtle nesting sites in Sri Lanka, thus giving rise to a turtle conservation project. Turtles swim to the shore in the night to lay eggs on the beach and they are protected in the sand by the conservation project. This beach is a nesting sanctuary for five different species of turtle. Sea at Tangalle is a great place to surf and snorkel and from December to April you can watch blue whales on their annual migration as well as sperm whales and dolphins.

The Tree House or The Honeymoon Suite
