Our trip with Blue Lanka Travel was organised very well along with our son, Rajesh who oversaw all the destinations and hotels. All the hotels chosen were excellent. Dilan Silva was our driver and he made our trip more enjoyable and comfortable with his good nature. Because it helps protect the world and environment we love to explore – the people, places, and nature that make each destination special. Travelling responsibly means respecting local traditions, learning without imposing, and celebrating diversity. This makes our experiences richer and more authentic.
Q. What is your favourite part about working with Blue Lanka Tours?
Working here feels purposeful because we are ambassadors of Sri Lanka. Every tour we design showcases the best of our heritage and culture. It feels meaningful to be part of that mission. Sharing the beauty of my country with visitors who want to discover ancient cities, lush tea hills, and golden beaches – it’s incredibly rewarding. Our tours celebrate local communities, customs, and landscapes that many travellers might miss otherwise. It gives me pride to see visitors leave with a true sense of our island.
Q. If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?
People’s attitudes – changing the way we view life and treat one another would make the world much more peaceful and understanding. Misunderstandings, prejudices, and selfishness are the root causes of conflict and division. By fostering empathy, respect, and open-mindedness, we can resolve problems that affect our progress.
