Born into a multi-cultural environment, I’ve cherished the best of both worlds. Yet, I must confess, nothing quite compares to the captivating adventures that await in Sri Lanka. The diversity of experiences, the wealth of knowledge, and the sheer joy of discovery make it a traveler’s paradise. And now, as part of Blue Lanka Tours, I’m eager to deepen my understanding of the tourism industry and share my treasured experiences with fellow explorers.
My Leading Leisure Interests
Here are some activities that have left an incredible mark on my soul.
Lipton Tea Trails
This is such a beauty of Sri Lanka and I just personally love how the tea is processed and how it turns from the lush green leaves to brown dried dust of powder that gives us a daily dose of satisfaction once we take a sip of it. It is just amazing I love tea and I love tea-related activities. It is so much better when you know where your tea comes from.
This is such an amazing experience, seeing the wild animals for your own eyes and witnessing the beauty of it is amazing. And the best part is when you get to spot the leopards, that is the highlight of the safari! And seeing the rest of the beautiful animals in Sri Lanka!
The climb up Adam’s Peak
This is another one of my favorites it might be a rough hike up but once you reach the top, you know it’s worth the climb, one of the best sceneries in Sri Lanka and it is most beautiful at sunrise.
- Gal Oya’s Gentle Giants: This is an experience you won’t want to miss. Elephants playfully splash and trumpet, casting aside the burdens of the day as they revel in the simple joys of life.
- Explore by Bike: Pedal through to explore the Sri Lankan history on a bike. A more healthier way to explore the cultural treasures of Polonnaruwa and Anuradhapura cannot be recommended.
- Bawa’s Architectural Marvels: Geoffrey Bawa’s architectural creations offer a fresh perspective on life and design. Explore his work and be inspired.
