Chaaya Blu

Chaaya Blu Trincomalee, on the East coast of Sri Lanka, was once a 70s resort originally designed to resemble a great sailing vessel. It was re-launched in 2010 to a distinguishable retro-chic design. This 81 room beach resort is furnished in stylish retro deco with bleached wooden decks, cut-cement floors, rattan furniture, and denim trimmings. There are dolphins and whales in the surrounding sea, and chance to discover historical and cultural sites. Trincomalee has splendid diving and snorkelling opportunities, and many surrounding the hotel and the famed Pigeon Island.
