Cape Weligama

Cape Weligama is a unique beach resort on the south coast of the island. Designed by renowned Asian architect Lek Bunnag, it is laid out in a village style over 12 acres atop a promontory rising 36 metres above the Indian Ocean. The contemporary individual villas of generous proportions with stylish interiors are each set in a well manicured garden. Strategically built into the natural slopes of the headland, Cape Weligama offers the most panoramic views of the striking southern coast. Its 60-metre crescent-shaped infinity pool appears to flow seamlessly into the sea and the dinning locations on the resort give you unprecedented views of sunsets.
