The subspecies of sloth bear known as the Sri Lankan sloth bear (Melursus ursinus inornatus) is mostly found in the island’s lowland dry forests. In an effort to highlight its distinction among our fully furnished tents, we have named one of our premium tents after this species.

The forest eagle-owl, sometimes called the spot-bellied eagle-owl, is a large and imposing predatory bird. This forest-dwelling species is widespread in Sri Lanka as well as the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
