Five Star Tour Company in Sri Lanka
Over the last 20 days my wife and I have travelled over 2,000 km by car on a custom itinerary with Blue Lanka Tours exploring the central, south, and southwest regions of Sri Lanka. So many great memories. Eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Unforgettable places: Pinnawela, Dambulla, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Galle. Beautiful National Parks: Minneriya, Udawalawe, Yala, Bundala, Horton Plains, Sinharaja. Amazing animals. Colourful sarongs and saris. Religious prayers and faith. Perfect weather. Friendly genuine people. Small farms. Tea plantations. Excellent guides. Uncrowded beaches. Casual birding with >100 species. Highlights for us: the natural and cultural beauty, the rock fortress of Sigiriya, up close wild elephants, langurs, macaques, and leopards, Buddhist temples, amazing biodiversity, and the ancient and colonial history. It was an amazing adventure.
We have worked with guides and tour companies as clients in places such Galapagos, Machu Picchu, Angkor Wat, Yucatan, Belize, Tikal, Kuelap, Costa Rica, and Thailand as a point of reference. Blue Lanka Tours and their team exceeded our expectations for professionalism, vehicles, value, service, local knowledge, safety, communications, accommodations, wildlife expertise, cultural expertise, patience, timeliness, guide associates, and enthusiasm.
If you love adventure, food, diversity, culture, ancient history, and wildlife and you are looking to invest in an unforgettable vacation, then we recommend that you travel to Sri Lanka and consider working with Blue Lanka.
Sincere thanks to Blue Lanka Tours and our outstanding guide Aruna for showing us the beauty of Sri Lanka and for taking care of us like family.
